A deep border of plaids and check along with the solid burgundy accents frames the quilts perimeter. The patchwork repeats on the pillow shams and matching throw blanket off set by a rich solid burgundy bedskirt / gathered dustruffle adding to the nostalgic feel.

Each quilt is generously oversized after prewashing for a full, luxurious look, with binding on all edged, and printed or woven plaid backing where appropriate. Shams and pillows feature top quality button closures with details in ruffling, binding, and piping for a custom decorator's touch. Bedskirts have a gather ratio well above industry standard, with overlapping corners to conceal unsightly mattresses and bed frames. 3" decking around the perimeter of the skirt deck matches the drop fabric, a bit of exquisite tailoring borrowed from the clothiers. Fabrics are all custom designed by VHC, and exclusively produced to their higher specifications, seam allowance is generous, no cutting corners or excuses for an imported product.
